Registering as a Consultee

If you are not already registered click the "Register" button, found either on the "Home" page, the "Login" page, or the ”Add Representation” page.

If you wish to make representations on behalf of other organisations you will need to register as an agent by clicking on the 'I am an agent making representations on behalf of other organisations' tick box. For more information see ‘Registering as an Agent’).

  1. A user registration form will load (see Figure 1 ‘Register Form’).
  2. Complete the user registration form with as much information as possible ensuring that the following required fields are complete (required fields are indicated on the form with a red asterisk):
    1. Username - a maximum of 50 characters.
    2. Email address - as you are making a representation online an email address will need to be supplied in order to validate your details. Ensure the email address is entered correctly as your password will be sent to this address.
    3. Last name
    4. Address line 1
    5. Post town
    6. Post code
  3. Having read the terms and conditions select the tick box next to "I agree to all of the terms and conditions of registering."
  4. To complete your registration select the "Register" button.

The system will not allow the same combination of email address, given name and family name to be registered twice. If these fields have already been entered the following message will display System Message 1 ‘Already Registered?’.

If you are an Agent, and you wish to make representations on behalf of consultees please refer to ‘Registering as an Agent’.




You will receive an email confirming that your registration is complete. This will include your login username and password. Please see System Message 2 ‘Confirmation Email’ for an example.
