Limehouse Software Company Away Day is a Collaborative Success
Limehouse Software hosted its first annual company-wide meeting at the Grove, an 18th century estate in Hertfordshire, for team-building, training and some good old fashioned fun!
Several of the departments benefited from training in the afternoon whilst others had team meetings. The global sales team arrived at the Grove the day before and benefited from two days of sales training and account mapping. The customer support and training departments spent their timing gearing up for the upcoming launch of version 3.0 of ucreate and uengage. This included outside training to ensuring both teams will be ready for and continue to provide customers with world-class training and support. It was a great opportunity for the company as a whole to catch up with colleagues, collaborate on ideas, participate in training and plan for continued success.
All of Limehouse were dressed in their finest for the evening festivities which included a champagne reception followed by dinner. There was plenty of opportunity to catch up with colleagues from the States as well as some pretty fierce Wii competitions into the wee hours of the morning!
Friday kicked-off with breakfast, plenty of coffee, and team building activities. The company was divided into teams who all competed for the top prize. The competition included a treasure hunt, and a host of team activities such as dismantling a bomb, and putting up a tent while blindfolded. Going into the final activity two teams were tied for first place and it all came down to the egg launch! The winners walked away with a bottle of champagne each. After a much needed lunch, afternoon activities finished with a host of activities including golf, tennis, and volleyball at the Grove’s beach. The two days were a huge success and all are looking forward to next year’s outing!
