Limehouse Software strives for solo success

Limehouse software separates from Limehouse Group to focus on expansion.

Limehouse Software today announced its formal separation from the Limehouse Group consisting of Limehouse, Limehouse Synergy and Limehouse Print. This follows the sale by Giles Welch, former Chairman of Limehouse Group, of his majority shareholding in the Group to private equity house Iceni Capital.

Welch retains Limehouse Software and continues as Chief Executive Officer of the company supported by a management team consisting of Colin Mackenzie, Chief Information Officer and Ed Hopper, Sales Director. The business will remain at its current premises of 1 London Bridge and continue to operate as Limehouse Software.

Welch said: “I am relishing the opportunity to focus entirely on a single company - especially one where the potential for growth is so considerable. We have a strong and very skilled team here, demonstrated by our 400% growth over the last two years.”

Limehouse Software has made significant investments over the past year to scale up the business while retaining its reputation for outstanding customer service. Areas of investment include an upgrade of its website – www.limehousesoftware.co.uk – a revised IT infrastructure and the addition of online help and tutorial resources for the exclusive use of its customers.

Planned areas for future growth include: continued expansion in the United States; a presence in central government; broadening usage of Limehouse Software within other departments of local government; and the launch of Version 3 of its software – providing cross-functionality across all departments of local government.

Welch continued, “In recent years we have seen strong organic growth and my one hundred percent attention on the business will mean that the company can continue its excellent work with local authorities and central government as well as its successful expansion into new markets. We will continue to provide the highest level of service possible to our customers. Both customers and staff will feel the benefit of our increased investment and commitment to the business.”
