Bracknell Forest is latest planning department to select Limehouse Software

Bracknell Forest Council has now joined the 200 other local authorities who are using Limehouse Software to successfully collaborate, create and engage on their Local Development Framework.

Bracknell Forest were looking for a more collaborative and streamlined solution to improve upon their existing development control system. After reviewing the marketplace, Limehouse Software was identified as meeting all of the essential functionality and as being the most cost-effective solution.

As a current supplier to 200 local authority planning departments, as well as other public sector bodies, Limehouse Software proved to be the supplier of choice for Bracknell Forest.

Limehouse Software’s ucreate will facilitate simultaneous authoring and dynamic content structuring, enabling content for the LDF to be assembled with ease. The finished document will then be published instantly to multiple formats, maintaining the integrity of Bracknell Forest’s style and brand, while avoiding expensive design costs. The ucreate documents are then made available online in seconds and consulted on via uengage.

Limehouse Software will be undertaking data migration from Bracknell Forest’s current development control system in order to create a single unified consultee database within uengage. The system will then allow Bracknell Forest to employ a multitude of consultation techniques to engage with consultees and gather manual and electronic feedback.

Representations can be analysed via sophisticated back-end reporting and fed back into the LDF development process.
