Cherwell District Council to roll out uengage for corporate consultation
Cherwell District Council has recently expanded their use of Limehouse Software’s uengage solution, rolling it out across the Council for all corporate consultation activity.
Cherwell District’s planning department was already using Limehouse Software’s document collaboration and creation solution – ucreate – in conjunction with uengage, to create and consult on their Local Development Framework.
Cherwell decided to purchase uengage for all their corporate consultation activity after realising its significant benefits in terms of ease of use and reduction in costs. The fact that the infrastructure was already in place and users already familiar with the solution made the decision even more logical.
uengage is a complete consultation solution, offering a co-ordinated and strategic approach to public consultation. The advantage of using it across the Council is that consultee data can be shared, enabling the Council to ask the right questions of the right people and avoiding consultation fatigue. Responses can also be recorded, analysed and shared across the Council to gather information and support better decision making.
Ed Hopper, Sales Director said “We are confident that Cherwell District Council will quickly realise the full benefits of expanding uengage across the Council for all corporate consultations. Not only will it bring significant cost and time savings for the Council, but having one unified consultation system makes it even easier for residents and stakeholders to respond to multiple consultations.”
