E-Planning Ahead!
Limehouse Software exhibited and presented alongside Horsham District Council at the RTPI E-Planning event held at the New Connaught Rooms in London on 14th March 2007.
The conference aimed at Planners, IT Professionals and GIS operators concentrated on how local authorities can realise the benefits from the provision of e-Planning solutions, giving practical examples of the issues involved, how you can overcome them and how you move from e-planning being a burden to an integral part of delivering a better, more efficient and more effective planning service. The conference agenda provided information on processing e-applications, consultation on e-applications and the publication of and consultation on LDFs, plus information on why you should be implementing “Better Planning Services” and the services available from the Planning Advisory Service to help you do it.
Chris Bradley, Analyst Programmer, Horsham District Council and Colin MacKenzie, Technical Director at Limehouse Software presented “LDF Publishing and Consulting Online - The Horsham Experience” providing a real-life example of how, by using Limehouse Software, this local authority has overcome the key issues impacting on the delivery of e-planning services – and became one of the first local authorities to achieve a sound rating for its Core Strategy. The presentation focused on the collaboration, publishing and e-consultation requirements of the LDF.
Limehouse Software Collaborate Publish and Consult solutions are proven to reduce the time, effort and cost of producing and consulting on all the documents associated with the LDF.
