Limehouse software releases latest version of ucreate and uengage

Limehouse software sets new performance and price standards for online collaboration and consultation software with latest version of ucreate and uengage

LONDON, UK, November 17th, 2008 – Limehouse Software, the market leader in web-based document creation, collaboration, publishing and key stakeholder consultation solutions, today introduced Version 3.3 of its ucreate and uengage software solutions. Benefitting from the culmination of 25 man years of development, the latest version sets new standards for functionality and ease of use. Version 3.3’s introduction is supported by a greatly simplified licensing model, making it even more cost effective to deploy ucreate and uengage.

Under the terms of the new licensing models, an organisation can choose from a project-based licensing model with unlimited users, or from a series of Software as a Service (SaaS) style packages. The new licensing models provide organisations with increased flexibility to suit their project and budget requirements.

Giles Welch, CEO of Limehouse Software commented: “With over 250 active customers, Limehouse Software’s product suite is already recognised as one of the most effective ways to unite the three key functions of collaboration, document publishing and consultation. The introduction of Version 3.3 significantly raises the bar in terms of features and functionality, now presenting an even more powerful proposition for organisations of all sizes.” He continued: “Our new licensing models will also help our customers maximise their return on investment and target business needs more accurately.”

Major changes to Limehouse Software’s ucreate and uengage solutions include:  performance improvements, quicker document creation with Microsoft Word import; easier consultations using a new Consultation Event Wizard; a better consultee experience following portal redesign with PDF download of documents and comments; and improved help capabilities, with audio, video and text-based context sensitive help, throughout the system.

Other product improvements introduced in Version 3.3 include: a new Excel plug-in which gives users the ability to open, update and save Excel data directly to ucreate without leaving their MS Excel environment; new reporting features; and full support for the Mac environment using Apple’s Safari web browser.
