Adobe® InDesign® integration
Adobe InDesign is now available in the latest version of ucreate – Limehouse Software’s unique web-based, document-centric collaboration and publishing solution – to help organisations streamline design processes and develop high-end, tailored designs within significantly shorter timeframes.
This will allow organisations to seamlessly integrate ucreate published documents with Adobe InDesign to further enhance content presentation and document design where more design control is required. This means your Authors can make all their corrections through ucreate and have them imported into InDesign, leaving your Designers to focus on what’s most important to them – designing!
How the integration works:
Use ucreate to firstly manage workflow, content and simultaneous authoring to assemble your document.
Then publish to print-ready PDF, XML and AAA-rated HTML formats in seconds.
At any stage in this process a document can be transferred directly into InDesign, in a fully formatted and styled format, leaving your designer to further enhance and customise.
Once your InDesign file is set up any subsequent changes made by the Author, to text and images, are then synchronised and updated automatically to your file in seconds.
Authors are able to create long, complex documents laid out with style sheets and tables, with additional changes and corrections being simultaneously updated to InDesign.
By significantly reducing the associated labour-intensive artworking and reproofing, designers can spend more time producing highly stylised documents.
Your design department can be more responsive and deliver within shorter timeframes.
The integrity of text, numbering, styling and all page layout featured are retained during transfer.
Documents can then be further designed and customised for a more bespoke end-result.
